Cancellation & Chargeback Policy

Effective Date: February 19, 2025

At Assembly Help LLC, we strive to provide clear expectations and fair policies for all customers. By booking services through our platform, you agree to the following terms regarding cancellations, chargebacks, and payment responsibilities.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Appointments

  • Cancel 72+ hours before your scheduled appointment: No cancellation fee.

  • Cancel less than 72 hours before your scheduled appointment: Fee of $195 minimum, or up to 100% of your service cost, whichever is greater.

  • Onsite cancellations or refusals: If a technician has already arrived or work has begun, the full invoice amount may be charged.

Rescheduling

  • Reschedule 72+ hours before appointment: No fee.

  • Reschedule within 72 hours of appointment: Subject to a $195 fee or 30% of the total service cost, whichever is greater.

No-Show Policy

If you are unavailable or unreachable during the scheduled service window, a no-show fee of up to the full service cost may be applied.

Chargeback Policy

Dispute Timeframe

Customers must notify us of any billing or service concerns within 30 days of the scheduled service date. After this period, you waive your right to initiate a dispute or chargeback, unless otherwise protected by law.

Unauthorized Chargebacks

Initiating a credit card chargeback without first contacting Assembly Help to resolve the issue is a violation of our Terms of Service. We take unauthorized chargebacks seriously and may pursue the following actions:

  • Immediate collection of the full outstanding balance.

  • Suspension or permanent deactivation of your user account.

  • Referral of the account to a third-party collections agency.

Collections & Recovery

If your payment is reversed or goes unpaid:

  • You remain responsible for the full amount owed.

  • You agree to pay any additional costs related to debt recovery, including interest, administrative fees, and reasonable attorney or collections agency fees.
