Welcome to Assembly Help! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and assembly services. By using our services or website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Assembly Help, LLC ("Assembly Help," "we," or "us") connects customers ("Customers") with independent service providers ("Service Providers") for assembly and installation services across the 48 contiguous U.S. states. We facilitate service matching and communication via our online platform (the "Platform").
Each completed job represents a separate agreement between the Customer and the Service Provider.
2. User Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding agreements. You may not use the Platform if you have been previously removed or banned.
3. Payment and Billing
Payment Terms:

Charges are shown at the time of order and may include applicable taxes and fees.

Your card will be charged upon service completion.

A pre-authorization may apply before your service appointment.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Cash is not accepted.
Disputes:

Any billing or service disputes must be reported within 30 days of your appointment.

Chargebacks after this period are waived unless prohibited by law.
Non-Refundable:
All payments are final. No refunds will be issued.
Coupons/Discounts:

Applied at checkout only.

Not redeemable for cash or transferable.
4. Trip Charge Insurance – Peace of Mind for Your Assembly
At Assembly Help LLC, we understand that missing or damaged parts can sometimes delay assembly. While we work with manufacturers known for reliability, such issues are outside our control.
To help protect against unexpected return trip charges, we offer Trip Charge Insurance, which ensures a free return visit under the following terms:
Opt-In Coverage:
If any parts are missing or damaged, we will return at no additional cost once replacement parts have arrived. This applies only if the parts in question were part of the shipment present before the scheduled appointment.
Exclusions:

This does not cover shipments that are not onsite on the day of service.

This does not cover missing boxes. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all boxes are accounted for and present at the time of service.
Trip Charge Insurance is optional and must be selected at the time of booking. Customers who decline this coverage may be subject to standard return visit fees.

No-Shows & Return Trips:

No-show fees may apply if the customer is unavailable.

Return trips due to missing or damaged parts may incur charges of $195 or 30% of the order total unless covered by Trip Charge Insurance.
Same-Day Changes:

No services can be removed day-of.

Additional services added same-day are subject to approval and a $25 admin fee.
6. Credit Card Disputes & Collections
By using our Platform and submitting payment information, you authorize Assembly Help to charge your selected payment method for any and all services provided.
Chargebacks:
Any chargebacks initiated without first contacting Assembly Help to resolve the issue may be considered a breach of these Terms. Customers must notify us of billing concerns within 30 days of their service date. After that period, the right to dispute is waived unless otherwise prohibited by law.
Collections:
In the event that your payment is reversed, declined, or otherwise unpaid, you remain responsible for the full balance due. Assembly Help reserves the right to send any unpaid balance to a third-party collections agency. You agree to be responsible for all reasonable costs associated with collections, including attorney fees, interest, and administrative fees.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform content, marks, and logos are owned by Assembly Help or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Communication Policy
By using our services, you consent to receive communication via email, SMS, or phone, including automated messages. Standard carrier rates may apply.
You may opt out, but doing so may affect your use of the Platform.
9. User Conduct
You agree not to:

Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes

Harass, impersonate, or harm others

Reverse engineer or interfere with the Platform

Violate any laws or third-party rights
10. Liability and Disclaimers
We are not responsible for:

The conduct or performance of Service Providers

Service interruptions or errors
-
Acts of weather, nature or god

Events outside of Assembly Help LLC or our Service Providers control

Damages arising from use of the Platform during or after service
Assembly Help makes no guarantees regarding service availability or outcomes. Your use is at your own risk.
11. Service Providers
Service Providers are independent contractors, not employees. They:

Set their own schedules

Must maintain required insurance

Are responsible for taxes and compliance
12. Disputes & Legal Terms
Jurisdiction:
These Terms are governed by Florida law. All disputes must be filed in courts located in Sarasota County, FL.
Termination:
We may terminate your access at any time for violations. Certain sections will survive termination.
Indemnity:
You agree to hold Assembly Help harmless from any claims or losses related to your use of the Platform.
Severability:
If any provision is invalid, the remainder will still apply.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms supersede all prior agreements.
Changes to These Terms
Assembly Help, LLC may modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to our website or Platform. Your continued use of our services after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically for changes.
